Raft Trip:

We took a raft trip down a river and stopped at a local farm house for lunch.

We travelled in a group of 3 rafts.
This group was having too much fun.
There were iguanas everywhere you looked. These guys were actually photographed from a bridge not far from the river.
They like to hang out near a restaurant where the owners and patrons feed them, hence they are very approachable. The locals call them Tree Chickens.
The family that lives on this farm are in some of the most primitive conditions in Costa Rica. They do not have electricity, but were able to provide us with a wonderful lunch in exchange for some money in an arrangement with our guides.
The grandfather, Pedro, is extremely well read considering he only has a grade school education. Although we didn't speak a common language, he was very courtious, and loved to have his picture taken.
